Play smart. Look out for one another.
Safety Center
Mullees helps golfers meet, communicate, and coordinate rounds. Meeting someone through any online community carries risk. These practices are designed to help members make informed decisions before, during, and after a round.

1. Before you meet
Review the golfer’s profile, shared connections, round details, and recent activity. Ask questions in Mullees messages and keep early conversations on-platform so there is a record if a concern arises.
Meet for the first time at a staffed, public golf facility during operating hours. Tell someone you trust where you are going, who you are meeting, the course and tee time, and when you expect to return. Arrange your own transportation and keep control of your keys, phone, wallet, clubs, and other belongings.
- Confirm the course, date, tee time, cost, host, transportation, number of holes, and who is expected to attend.
- Do not share passwords, one-time codes, financial account details, government identification numbers, or your exact home address.
- Use host approval for rounds when you want to review participants before they join.
- Trust your instincts. You may leave, cancel, block, or report whenever something feels unsafe or materially different from the listing.
2. Identity, profiles, and screening
Members must provide truthful information, but Mullees does not guarantee a person’s identity, handicap, skill, background, intentions, or conduct. Unless Mullees expressly says otherwise for a specific feature, profiles are not criminal, sex-offender, driving, or professional-license background checks.
A location or course marked as verified means the place was matched to location data; it does not mean the member, event, or safety of that place has been verified or endorsed. Founding Member, activity, compatibility, response, and attendance indicators are product signals—not guarantees of character, reliability, or safety.
3. At the course
Follow course rules, staff directions, golf etiquette, dress requirements, cart rules, pace-of-play expectations, and all applicable laws. Respect personal boundaries and obtain permission before touching another person or their equipment.
Do not harass, threaten, stalk, haze, discriminate against, intimidate, sexually pressure, or deliberately endanger anyone. Never operate a vehicle or golf cart while impaired. Do not bring illegal drugs or unlawful weapons to a Mullees-arranged round.
- Stay in public areas and seek help from course staff if conduct escalates.
- Do not pressure anyone to drink, gamble, pay, share transportation, exchange contact details, or continue socializing after the round.
- Account for weather, heat, lightning, terrain, wildlife, physical ability, and medical needs. Stop play and follow course safety instructions when conditions become unsafe.
- Get clear permission before photographing, recording, tagging, or posting another golfer.
4. Money, bookings, and scams
Mullees currently helps members coordinate; it does not guarantee reservations, prices, refunds, handicaps, wagers, transportation, equipment, or payment between members and courses. Confirm booking and cancellation terms directly with the course or host.
Be cautious of urgency, overpayment, gift-card requests, cryptocurrency requests, wire transfers, payment links, or requests to move immediately to an untraceable channel. Never send money merely to prove your identity or secure a friendship. Report suspected fraud.
5. Hosting and joining responsibly
- Hosts should post accurate details, disclose meaningful changes promptly, manage approvals consistently, and avoid overfilling a group.
- Participants should respond promptly, arrive on time, communicate cancellations, and pay agreed course charges directly through a trustworthy method.
- A host is not an employee, guide, security provider, medical professional, or agent of Mullees.
- Compatibility labels reflect profile information and are not safety ratings or promises that people will get along.
6. Messages, blocking, and privacy
Use blocking to stop unwanted direct interaction. A block may not erase content already shared, prevent chance encounters, or remove a person from third-party spaces. Adjust profile visibility and avoid posting precise real-time location details publicly.
Do not evade a block, create another account to contact someone, recruit others to contact them, or retaliate against a reporter. Retaliation and abuse of reporting tools may lead to account action.
7. Reporting a concern
Use the in-app report tools for unsafe behavior, harassment, spam, impersonation, no-shows, or other violations. Include accurate dates, course names, round links, usernames, messages, and a concise description. Preserve relevant screenshots and receipts without publicly posting sensitive information.
Mullees may review relevant account, round, message, community, and safety-report information; request more details; restrict features; remove content; suspend accounts; or refer matters to authorities when permitted or required. We may be unable to disclose outcomes involving another member. Good-faith reports are welcome; knowingly false or manipulative reports are prohibited.
8. Emergencies and serious incidents
For immediate threats, violence, stalking, suspected intoxicated driving, medical emergencies, missing persons, or theft in progress, contact emergency services and course security or management. Move to a safe, staffed location when possible.
After addressing immediate safety, report the account or round to Mullees. Mullees cannot dispatch responders, provide medical or legal advice, guarantee preservation of every record, or replace law enforcement, emergency services, course staff, or a qualified professional.
9. Younger people and vulnerable users
Mullees is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. Do not create an account for a minor, arrange an adult-minor meeting through Mullees, or post a minor’s identifying information without lawful authority and appropriate consent. Report any suspected grooming, exploitation, trafficking, or child-safety concern immediately to the appropriate authorities and Mullees.

Safety is a shared practice. Mullees can provide controls and respond to reports, but no online platform can eliminate all risk. Members remain responsible for their decisions, conduct, transportation, health, equipment, money, and compliance with course rules and law.
