Good people make better rounds

Community Guidelines

These guidelines define the conduct expected across Mullees profiles, rounds, messages, communities, media, and in-person interactions arranged through the platform.

Last updated August 4, 2026

1. Be honest about who you are

Use an account you are authorized to use and provide truthful, current information. Your profile should represent you—not another person, a fictional identity, or credentials you do not hold.

  • Do not impersonate another golfer, course, professional, organization, or member of Mullees.
  • Do not misrepresent your age, identity, handicap, skill, experience, location, affiliations, or intentions.
  • Do not create accounts to evade a block, suspension, report, or other restriction.
  • Correct material profile information when it becomes inaccurate.

2. Treat every golfer with respect

Golfers of different abilities, backgrounds, identities, and playing styles belong here. Disagreement is allowed; degradation and intimidation are not.

  • Do not harass, threaten, stalk, bully, haze, shame, or sexually pressure anyone.
  • Do not use hateful or demeaning language based on race, color, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, veteran status, or another protected characteristic.
  • Do not mock beginners, higher-handicap players, equipment, appearance, finances, or physical ability.
  • Respect a person’s decision not to connect, join, share information, drink, gamble, ride together, or socialize further.

3. Post rounds accurately

A round listing is a commitment to communicate honestly. Include the information another golfer reasonably needs to decide whether to join.

  • State the correct course, date, time, number of holes, available spots, booking status, and expected cost.
  • Disclose meaningful guest restrictions, payment expectations, cancellation terms, transportation details, and required approvals.
  • Describe the intended pace and atmosphere accurately.
  • Update participants promptly when details change and cancel listings that are no longer active.
  • Do not use fake rounds, misleading scarcity, or false pricing to collect attention, money, or personal information.

4. Honor commitments and communicate

Plans can change. Respectful golfers communicate early instead of leaving a host or group guessing.

  • Join only when you genuinely intend and are reasonably able to attend.
  • Respond to important host or participant questions within a reasonable time.
  • Arrive on time and prepared for the course’s rules and conditions.
  • If you must cancel, tell the host immediately and follow any lawful course cancellation obligations.
  • Do not repeatedly no-show, overbook yourself, or treat other members’ time as disposable.

5. Respect boundaries and consent

A shared round does not create entitlement to someone’s body, attention, contact information, transportation, money, time, or future friendship. Consent must be voluntary and can be withdrawn.

  • Ask before photographing, recording, tagging, or posting another person.
  • Do not touch another person or their equipment without permission.
  • Do not pressure anyone to provide a phone number, home address, workplace, social account, or private details.
  • Do not continue contact after someone blocks you or clearly asks you to stop.
  • Do not recruit others to evade a boundary or retaliate against someone who set one.

6. Keep communication constructive

Messages, posts, comments, captions, and group conversations should support golf, community, or legitimate coordination.

  • Do not send spam, repetitive solicitations, chain messages, unwanted sexual content, or manipulative requests.
  • Do not publish private messages or personal information to shame another person.
  • Disagree with ideas without attacking people.
  • Avoid inflammatory pile-ons, rumor campaigns, and unverified accusations.
  • Keep community posts relevant to the local golf audience and the selected topic.

7. Protect privacy and personal information

Share only information you have the right to share. Consider that community and public-facing content can be copied, indexed, or redistributed.

  • Never post passwords, authentication codes, financial account details, government identification numbers, or another person’s exact home address.
  • Do not expose private contact details, workplace details, live location, travel plans, or sensitive records without clear permission.
  • Do not scrape profiles, compile member dossiers, or use Mullees data for surveillance.
  • Remove unnecessary metadata and private information from uploaded media and screenshots.

8. Play safely and follow course rules

Members are responsible for their conduct at the course and during transportation or social activity connected to a round.

  • Follow course policies, staff instructions, etiquette, dress requirements, pace expectations, cart rules, and applicable law.
  • Never operate a car, cart, or equipment while impaired.
  • Do not bring illegal drugs or unlawful weapons to a Mullees-arranged activity.
  • Respond appropriately to lightning, heat, medical issues, wildlife, terrain, and other hazards.
  • Do not deliberately hit into another group, misuse equipment, damage property, or endanger another person.

9. No fraud, scams, or exploitation

Mullees is not a place to manipulate members financially or exploit their desire to play and connect.

  • Do not request gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers, account credentials, or payment merely to prove identity or friendship.
  • Do not use overpayment schemes, fake booking links, counterfeit equipment, pyramid schemes, or deceptive promotions.
  • Clearly disclose legitimate commercial relationships, sponsorships, or material incentives where relevant.
  • Verify course payments and booking terms through trustworthy channels before sending money.
  • Report suspicious urgency, impersonation, or payment requests.

10. Share content responsibly

You are responsible for the media and words you upload. Post only content you have the right and permission to share.

  • Do not post stolen, infringing, deceptive, pornographic, exploitative, or unlawfully violent content.
  • Credit sources accurately when recommending articles, products, videos, tips, or course information.
  • Do not edit media in a way that materially deceives people about a golfer, event, course, or result.
  • Do not reveal scorecards, names, faces, conversations, or identifying details when permission is required and has not been given.
  • Use accurate captions and avoid presenting opinion or rumor as verified fact.

11. Welcome beginners and different play styles

Mullees supports compatibility, not conformity. Members may seek particular skills or styles for a round, but preferences must be communicated without humiliation or prohibited discrimination.

  • Be clear when a round requires a certain pace, ability, format, or course familiarity.
  • Mark beginner-friendly rounds honestly and offer patience when you invite newer golfers.
  • Do not pressure others to play for money, drink alcohol, use music, ride, walk, or compete beyond what was agreed.
  • Resolve normal differences with calm communication and involve course staff when needed.

12. Use blocking and reporting in good faith

Safety and moderation tools exist to protect members and the community. Use them truthfully, not as weapons in a personal dispute.

  • Report harassment, threats, unsafe conduct, scams, impersonation, serious no-shows, or other genuine violations with accurate details.
  • Preserve relevant messages, dates, listings, receipts, and screenshots when safe to do so.
  • Do not file knowingly false reports, coordinate mass reporting, threaten someone with a report for leverage, or retaliate against a reporter.
  • A block should be respected across Mullees and not evaded through another account or another person.

13. Enforcement and accountability

Mullees may review relevant profiles, listings, posts, media, messages, reports, and account activity when addressing a concern. Depending on severity, context, history, and risk, Mullees may warn a member, remove content, limit visibility, restrict features, cancel listings, suspend an account, preserve information, or permanently remove access.

Enforcement decisions may consider behavior that occurs off-platform when it is directly connected to Mullees members, rounds, safety, fraud, retaliation, or a credible risk to the community. Mullees may cooperate with lawful requests and appropriate authorities as permitted or required. Privacy and safety obligations may limit what can be disclosed about an outcome involving another person.

14. The standard we share

Every profile, invitation, message, and round contributes to the culture of Mullees. The standard is straightforward: be truthful, communicate clearly, respect boundaries, protect safety, follow through, and leave the golf community better than you found it.

These guidelines cannot anticipate every situation. When a rule does not provide an obvious answer, choose the action that is more honest, more respectful, safer, and less likely to harm another golfer or the community.
