Built by a golfer, for golfers

About Mullees

Mullees is a golf community founded and built by Jaime after experiencing a simple but persistent problem: wanting to play golf and not having the right people to play with.

The reason Mullees exists

Golf is social by nature, but finding people to play with can be surprisingly difficult. Jaime knew the feeling of wanting to get out for a round, having the time and interest, and still not knowing who to call. Existing friends were busy, schedules rarely aligned, and joining an unfamiliar group without context could feel like a gamble.

The problem was not simply finding an open tee time. A tee time does not tell you whether the people in the group like to walk or ride, play quickly or take their time, enjoy conversation or prefer a quieter round, welcome beginners, play music, compete seriously, or just want a relaxed afternoon outside. The people shape the round as much as the course does.

That gap became the starting point for Mullees: a place where golfers could find not merely an available player, but a person they might genuinely enjoy spending four hours with.

From personal frustration to a platform

Jaime did not set out to build another generic social network or another tee-time marketplace. Mullees grew from the personal frustration of missing rounds because there was no simple, trustworthy way to find compatible playing partners nearby.

The founder journey started with a practical question: what information would make it easier to say yes to a round with someone new? The answer went beyond a name and handicap. Golfers need context—playing style, pace, personality, availability, preferred courses, expectations, and the small details that determine whether a group feels comfortable together.

Mullees was built around that answer. Profiles help people express how they actually play. Compatibility tools highlight shared preferences. Round listings make expectations visible before anyone commits. Connections and communities make it possible for one good round to become a lasting golf relationship.

People first, golf always

The heart of Mullees is the belief that better rounds start with better connections. Skill matters, but compatibility is larger than a handicap number. A new golfer may want a patient group that welcomes questions. A competitive player may want a focused match with a steady pace. Someone new to town may care most about meeting friendly local golfers. Each of those golfers deserves a useful way to find their people.

Mullees therefore treats personality and expectations as core golf information. Pace, music, drinks, walking, competition, social style, schedule, and preferred courses are not afterthoughts. They are part of the experience, and making them clear helps golfers meet with more confidence.

Built by golfers, for golfers

Mullees is shaped from the perspective of someone who understands the awkwardness of looking for a group, the uncertainty of joining strangers, and the difference the right playing partners can make. It is not designed to tell golfers how they should enjoy the game. It is designed to help them find others who enjoy it in compatible ways.

That means respecting every legitimate version of golf: the early-morning walker, the weekend beginner, the serious low-handicap player, the parent squeezing in nine holes, the social golfer who enjoys music and conversation, and the newcomer who simply wants an invitation. There is no single correct golf personality. There is only the importance of being honest about yours.

What the name represents

A mulligan is a chance to take another shot. Mullees carries that welcoming spirit into the social side of golf: another chance to get out, meet someone new, find a better-fit group, return to the game, or build the golf circle you have been missing.

The name is intentionally friendly. Golf can be intimidating, especially for beginners or people without an established network. Mullees aims to lower that social barrier without lowering expectations for honesty, respect, safety, or course etiquette.

A community, not just a directory

Finding one player for one round is useful, but Mullees is designed for what comes next. A positive round can become a connection. Connections can become a regular group. Local golfers can exchange course knowledge, share highlights, organize future rounds, and welcome others into the game.

City and course communities give that activity a local home. They help golfers discover what is happening nearby, learn from people who know the area, and participate in a community connected by real places and shared experiences.

Trust must be earned

No compatibility score can guarantee chemistry, character, safety, attendance, or conduct. Mullees uses profile information to make introductions more informed, not to replace judgment. Members remain responsible for reviewing details, communicating clearly, meeting safely, following course rules, and using block and report tools when needed.

Trust grows through accurate profiles, honest round listings, reliable communication, respectful behavior, and consistent follow-through. Mullees is being built to support those habits while remaining clear about what technology can and cannot promise.

Growing with the golfers who use it

Mullees is an evolving platform. Founding members are not simply early users; they are helping define what a useful modern golf community should become. Their experiences reveal where golfers need more clarity, better tools, stronger safeguards, and easier ways to connect.

The product will continue to grow around real golfing behavior rather than abstract engagement. Features should help someone find a partner, join a round, communicate expectations, build trust, or strengthen a local golf community. If a feature does not serve golfers, it does not serve the mission.

The mission

Mullees exists so fewer golfers miss a day they wanted to play simply because they did not have someone to join them. Its mission is to make golf more connected, welcoming, and accessible by helping people find playing partners who fit their game, schedule, and personality.

For Jaime, this remains personal. Mullees is the platform he wished existed when he was trying to find people to play with. It is being built so the next golfer in that position has somewhere to go—and someone to meet.
